I got called up for Jury service at age 19 and I was used on a jury every single day of the Sea sun and a sip of fun it’s cruise time sunglasses sunset T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this two weeks I was there. The longest time I was unused was between my first and second cases where I came in on the Monday and they didn’t call me until about 2pm. For the third case I was only waiting 2-3 hours before I was called. In one of the cases the judge fell asleep, and in another the judge got into an argument with the prosecutor about something. Second day EVERY unpicked juror got summoned into the chamber, I turned to one of the chaps I was with and said “this is NOT good.” There must have been 50 of us in the courtroom in front of the Judge; we crowded the jury seats, the galleries, the lawyer benches, everywhere. After more than an hour in the chamber, 15* of us were picked for a horrible, horrible case (*12 jurors, 3 standbys in case one of us fell out during the first few days.). We were told “go home, prepare, tomorrow is a free day because I’m tying something else up. Report Thursday morning, expect to be here for at least 7 weeks.”

Mother-in-Law rang Tuesday night, told her, she said “you can’t do it, there’s no way FIL is going to live that long” (he was terminally ill, but we had thought he had maybe 6 months to go.) Didn’t sleep Tuesday or Wednesday night, spent the Sea sun and a sip of fun it’s cruise time sunglasses sunset T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this whole of Wednesday trying to work out how to stand in front of the judge and tell him I couldn’t do it. Thursday morning I turned up at court early in something of a state. Explained the situation to one of the officials.”Leave it with me.”10 minutes later she came back and said “yeah, no problem, you are off the jury. You need to come in at the start of the trial to be formerly discharged, but then you’re free to go.” Was discharged from the chamber, given an expense form to fill in and told to go home and look after my family.
