Prior to marriage and kids, my life from 20-24 was 6 months of work followed by six months of nothing but gaming. I loved it. I miss it. My kids are worth working full time for tho. No, you can do that as a young person, it just won’t be for long. Because you’ll end up homeless with no food, and the Scott Stricklin Strickclown Shirt in contrast I will get this end is really gonna suck as you starve to death. Hey, I didn’t say it was a good idea. Now get back in the McDonald’s and make my overpriced burger peasant. I’m glad you put the disclaimer there, because I have genuinely heard from elderly family, (“when I was your age, I bought a property, was married and we both worked, we then renovsted the property and sold it” and then I explain to them, I make more than they both did in a year, and most of its taken by rent. These are my grandparents, who once stated they won’t pass money on to any of their family, because they weren’t handed it on a plate. When I then told them, they were handed it on a plate though, because they started their enterprise buying council houses. Well they then told me they’d taken me out of their will for being disrespectful…. Right after telling me there was no will.

Rent where I live goes up by 10% per year, wages don’t go up. Even if you have a stable job, yearly raises are like 2-3%. My grandparents bought their house, a bungalow mind you, completely detached with an enormous garden for £2600. Can’t even buy a bloody shed for that now. Thankfully I have a stable career, but even then options are limited almost to whether I want to live in a box or a slightly bigger box in the Scott Stricklin Strickclown Shirt in contrast I will get this arse end of nowhere. Yeah no, if you look through my comment history on posts like these you’ll be able to see I’m just as fucked as you are. American youth are suffering too, man. I was being hopeful. The sad reality is we’re stuck making somebody else rich until we collapse then they’ll kick us aside and replace us. That’s my hang up. I’ve taken time off from work (unpaid time off, obvs) to drive 18hrs to see family and spend more money. I wanna a vacation and not worry about the two weeks after I get back trying to live off air and water. Thats where i have a hard time, save up for a year to go on a week long vacation or bank it and quit a few months earlier Haha this person works. Amen. Just went to Iceland for two weeks with wifey and guess what waited for me? That’s right, two weeks worth of inbox.
