I used to feel intense dread when I was younger from this. That feeling you’re describing, like I was sick to my stomach. I felt like I couldn’t even breathe Scooby Doo where are you 54th anniversary 1964-2023 thank you for the memories shirt What’s more,I will buy this until I shook the notion that I am alive, that I am here. Now I don’t get the dread, it’s been replaced by overwhelming joy and gratitude. You’re here, and you’re alive! There is so much to experience and witness. I had a weird period of existential crisis when I was very young. I’m talking like, 5-6 years old. I couldn’t grasp that fact that I was alive and existing and moving through life. And that other people were doing the same, with the same POV from their own eyes in the middle of their head just like me. I used to watch other people so closely, like my dad, when he was doing things and didn’t know if I was watching. To see if he still existed when he didn’t know I was aware & if he still acted the same. I thought maybe he’d morph into something different or just break down into a cloud of pixels. It still hits me like that sometimes but not nearly as intense as when I was young.
