What would have been a good idea would be to have the blend button activate a hidden camera instead. Whoever presses the button gets their picture taken and posted to a massive billboard outside the gallery with a nice big flashing “animal abuser” sign. Unpopular opinion but… it’s a goldfish. I’d be willing to bet half of this sub have eaten fish in the past month. Whether or not you kill a fish is not a moral issue. No, I don’t think we should go around destroying fish just because, but I also think we need to prioritize our outrage. The button should just shock the fuck out of the person pressing it. Would have made the artist’s point just fine and been way more satisfying.

The museum director should have been convicted. What did they expect would happen.
