Around 2008 the Saquon Barkley New York Vintage Mono Shirt moreover I will buy this park decided that there were endangered species and they needed a place to live or something. So they decided to let the beach return to it’s natural state and stopped looking after it. As a result 75-85% of the beach became weeds, grass, cattails etc. The 30-40ft of sandy beach that ran from the road to the water turned into dirt and grass and weeds. Not to mention because of the weeds/reeds the water receded and what used to be 30-40ft of beach is now 100+ feet of weeds/reeds before you hit the water. There is also 5ft of beach if your lucky and it’s not maintained so it’s covered in garbage and seaweed, driftwood and dead fish etc. Only recently in the last year I believe the park realized it was a mistake because nothing changed in terms of endangered wildlife and the park is now trying to revert it. In the 2013 picture where the weeds/reeds are is where the beach ended and water began, so you can really see how much damage it did to the waterline basically doubling the width of the “beach”.

Sometimes they would trim that section once a month other years they only trimmed it back once all year. You would get a $150+ fine if you were caught trying to cut the weeds/reeds past the sand dune that ran parallel with the road. Everything in both of those images used to be sand from the road to the waterline, the hill/mound running parallel with the road used to be 100% sand and large rocks because when the water level would rise and it stopped the waves to a degree. Living in Delaware. I’m watching farm after farm getting turned into development. And living near Dover. Everyone from new castle county figured out they can move to Kent county and go from paying $10,000/year in taxes for a 3 bed 2 bath house on a 1/4 acre. To living on an acre with a 4 bed 3 bath house and pay roughly $800/year.
