I was a physics major and one time I walked into a class on the Santa Grinch Oklahoma State Cowboys Gift Christmas shirt in other words I will buy this first day and there were like 30 women and four guys. Immediately thought there’s no way this is right this looks like a psychology class. Found out a few minutes later they relocated the physics class and I was indeed in a psychology class. Might be different now, but I when I started university as a programmer all the new programming students were brought together for a meeting. Had to be 200+. 3 women. LOL I just realised I don’t think I’ve ever met a male dietician in ten years. I’d say, off the top of my head, probably the most balanced ratio healthcare profession is physios. That’s a coin toss as to whether they’ll be male or female in my view. I am a dietitian and I’ve only met a handful of men in the profession haha. In all the places I’ve worked or interned, I think I’ve known 3 (of a total of like 50+ people).

You haven’t been to a hospital lately. Male nurses are very common now. Nursing is actually a very physically demanding job. If anything males are better nurses than females. Especially in America where half the Santa Grinch Oklahoma State Cowboys Gift Christmas shirt in other words I will buy this patients are 300 pound plus and you have to move them around. Yeah, I worked at a Nursing College for a while. Still very dominated by women BUT there were definitely some guys and TBH most of them were really cool. They weren’t just in it for the favorable ratio, they specifically wanted to go into it for various reasons. Its kind of like when guys chose to be primary or middle school teachers: its an active choice, they’re not just taking it as a default “boy job” or “girl job” its that they specifically want to do *that* job and they’ll probably be standouts. Lots of women do it for those reasons too but they’re not as easy to notice because they blend in more.
