For me, budgeting, paying bills, building long-lasting relationships with friends and a partner, all these so called “adult” things that many find difficult to handle – this all comes very easily to me. I found high school responsibilities and expectations much harder. Subjective but overall it was very easy for me. School work was a joke. You’d have to put more effort in failing than passing. Socially, I didn’t have any issues. Stuck around with friends that I still hang out with 15 years later. Stayed out of trouble. Breezed through it. Well, you don’t have the Santa Grinch I Don’t Think Before I Speak I Like Being Just As Surprised Shirt Also,I will get this same freedom you have in your 20s or 30s, but in exchange you get free stuff and you can get yourself injured and recover 100% next week. Yeah man when I tap out of work, I’m done with work. Homework in high school was a nightmare and terrible for sleep. Plus you’re already stuck behind a desk all day to go home and do it for another 2-3 hours is ridiculous. Life is much easier as long as you work hard

being a teenager makes things more difficult than they should be. Adult life after high school is much less forgiving. Depends the Santa Grinch I Don’t Think Before I Speak I Like Being Just As Surprised Shirt Also,I will get this person. There is some truth in the joke that the popular kid who had all the girls and friends in highschool commonly ends up in a dead end job supporting a thankless family. While the nerdy kid who got bullied throughout highschool gets a high salary job and the attractive successful wife. No it’s the exact opposite. Graduate and no more peer pressure and dumb crap. Granted if you end up in an office job you might still have your cliques but I work construction and we’re just a bunch of dudes/ dudettes that are waiting for beer 30 everyday. Life just like school, and everything else is about preparing yourself. In high school, you haven’t acquired the skills yet to handle an adults bills, such as mortgages and responsibilities like kids. So, while doable, it would be very difficult. The same way an adult would have a much easier time dealing with a kid’s responsibilities. That doesn’t mean that it’s any easier for a high school while they’re in high school.
