Personally, I found that high school was the Santa Grinch Dallas Cowboys We Dem Boyz Miami Dolphins Christmas Shirt and by the same token and most uncomfortable, taxing and mental health-damaging period in my entire life. I could not exert control over even the most basic factors of my life like not being around people who were mean to me. University was better. Adult life out of university was better still, though I had a lot to learn about how to function in the real world in a way that was healthy for me in particular. I hated my equivalent to high-school. The last 2 were probably the most stressful least fun years of my life. No money, no free time, pressure to study and do well. No thank you. Much preferred life once I start working. I graduated high school pre internet. No social media, no texting, people didn’t have cell phones really etc etc

High school was super easy compared to the Santa Grinch Dallas Cowboys We Dem Boyz Miami Dolphins Christmas Shirt and by the same token and real world. I cringe at the stupid shit that was important to me then. I’d say it’s extremely easier, but also far, far less rewarding. Independence is probably the single best thing about life, but it takes an incredible amount of work to maintain. Despite it being easier in retrospect though, it sure doesn’t feel like it at the time. When you’re a teenager, everything feels like the most important thing in the world, which can lead to life feeling incredibly tough. That will change with experience. High school was a breeze. You turn up, you did the work that’s assigned, you get a report. Slate is wiped clean every year and you get a fresh start. Life doesn’t give you a reset button. Every life decision compounds. You make the wrong health, love, job decision…you pay for it forever. High School was hardest. Then University next. Life is easier. No one grades your performance in life. You just suffer the consequences.
