Getting your diet in order is important too. I’d avoid keto though. There are certain health conditions that can benefit from it, but in general, I don’t think it’s a good idea. I’ve personally felt my best and gotten the Santa Claus If You Don’t Like Miami Marlins Merry Kissmyass Shirt also I will do this best results on health screenings when eating a high carb low fat mostly plant based diet. Do you guys have any good resources that would help guide me into an exploration of why my mind sometimes acts the way it does, maybe reveal traumas I’m not aware off? Someone else already said it, but psychedelics. Caveat of course, they are dangerous and very powerful, I have a neuroscientist co-worker who has worked in this field since the earliest days, and he says psychedelics are a ‘crowbar to the mind’. Having said that, they are exactly what you are asking for. That’s why some people get really strong flashbacks of traumatic issues during extended meditation (“shadow work”). Psychedelics just pop the can right open, which is why you need to really be prepared. If there are major issues from your past, they will almost certainly come up. If you are prepped, have solid intentions, have a good sitter, and navigate the journey well, you can make ten years progress in one trip. Personally I would do a bit literature review first if you haven’t any experience with psychedelics, if you’re living somewhere progressive there are also probably groups you can contact that would plan a trip and do the whole aftermath ‘integration’ stuff as well. Second to meditation, my yoga practice (couple of times a week) and some breathing practices (pranayama) that I do on the side help me tremendously.
