I’d argue that all of this likely indicates OP’s item didn’t have a warning about variations. From what I understand yes. The white to dark ratio is part of the “quality” of the stone. I’m not sure if the dark spots are true imperfections or aesthetic imperfections. Honestly though I would have been thrilled, the stone he got is way more figured and interesting than the pic. I didn’t think anybody bought marble to celebrate its plain-ness.

Unfortunately, if they sold it as “white marble”, you can’t do much, as they could have potentially shipped any white looking marble to you. The stone they are showing in the website picture is Dolomite Vein Cut Marble, and the stone you got is Bianco Carrara Marble. Both white marbles. Really scummy on there part, I think there is night/day difference and would be absolutely pissed if I got that after that long. Sorry Yes, Dolomite (the one shown on the website) is more expensive. Bianco Carrara (what the person received) is considered one of the most affordable white marbles out there unfortunately. The problem as u mentioned above they are both white marbles but I personally prefer the one advertised. Thanks for the clarification!!
