I’m not sure I was surprised, but I know some adults are shocked that they can still be bullied and that they can get in ‘trouble’. A child asked me today what the San Francisco 49ers Mickey Mouse Super Bowl LVIII Shirt in other words I will buy this latest was that I’ve stayed up, with hindsight I should have just said 2am or similar because she didn’t grasp the idea that you don’t always have to go to bed I thought I’d be a far different person when I became a parent; that I’d age ten years and suddenly be a whole lot mature. Turns out I’m exactly the same person but I now just have a kid. My priorities in life have shifted and I generally feel fulfilled in a way that I never did before but I’m not smarter or any more sensible! I was walking down the hall at work the other day and that realisation actually really hit me. Like, I’ve been the one in charge for a couple of years, but seriously? They chose me? And let me keep doing it? Have they actually met me? That the word ‘barista’ works much the same as similar italian words such as ‘turista’, ‘ciclista’ and ‘pianista’, it basically translates to ‘bar-ist’, as in someone who works on the bar where they sell coffee.

San Francisco 49ers Mickey Mouse Super Bowl LVIII Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

You know when someone tells you something, and you have to stop for a moment and assess what you’ve just heard? Mid-30s and still waiting. But I realised a while ago that all the San Francisco 49ers Mickey Mouse Super Bowl LVIII Shirt in other words I will buy this adults in my life when I was a kids were just “faking it until they made it” essentially. That you don’t really realise you’re old. You see other people of your age looking old. You see young people and you know they’re younger than you but you can’t quite come to terms with the fact that you aren’t one of them at all any more. You’re old. It’s very disconcerting. Finding out what happens to animals in the meat and dairy industries. It’s incredibly disturbing, and it turned me vegan. The marketing on food packaging that says that the animals had happy lives is complete bullshit. One example, in the egg industry, all male chicks are macerated (i.e. put into a meat grinder) when they are one day old, because they can’t lay eggs so are no use in that industry. That’s their whole life – one day of brutality and a horrific death. One more example, dairy cows are artificially impregnated then their calves are taken away from them when they are one day old, and killed, so that we can drink the cows’ udder milk. Cows are deeply maternal and they literally scream when their babies are taken away, time after time. It blows my mind that we can be so cruel, completely unnecessarily. Humans can easily live without eating animals or their excretions – in fact, it’s much better for our health. Fund sanctuaries not slaughterhouses and go vegan, people!
