…obsessively, is a little harsh. But yes if I’m going somewhere new and/or very atmospheric, I’ll look online first. So I’m not wasting other people’s time squinting or asking obvious things just because my eyesight sucks. I do look up what the San Francisco 49ers Marvel Wolverine and Deadpool True friends shirt and I will buy this interior looks like, where the bathrooms and exits are, etc… but the menu and food doesn’t stress me out I don’t look up menu items online, I do just wait to get the actual paper menu. But that’s when I get the anxiety! I always have maybe two to four different things that sound good and I can never make up my mind. I think I usually just end up quickly saying the first one that pops into my head when the server comes over to take my order My daughter used to be like this. One time, I made a horrible decision. I think she was about 10 and I told her if she didn’t order her own food I wasn’t going to order it for her and she would have to order it or not eat. Of course when it was time for her to order she started crying or I wouldn’t be telling this story probably. I had told her I wasn’t going to order for her, and I didn’t want to go back on what I said but I didnt know she was going to start crying and I felt horrible and realized I fucked up so I told her brother to order for her cuz there was no way I was gonna let her be so upset and not be able to eat too. 🫠 I was the one who learned a lesson that day lol. She is older now and able to order for herself. I’m really proud of her.

I don’t get menu anxiety. I get no menu anxiety. When you go to place that just lists ingredients and you gotta make it yourself. Think like Five guys. I just ask my wife what her second choice is and get that if i’m undecided. She always picks the San Francisco 49ers Marvel Wolverine and Deadpool True friends shirt and I will buy this better meal anyway. I avoid it by ordering the same thing at every restaurant. I definitely don’t like going into a place and seeing a massive menu. This is an incredibly incomplete study, because I can say firsthand that it’s more pronounced in women of any age, to an extreme degree. Without fail they get flustered and quickly defer to males at the table, who almost always order confidently and immediately. It’s so annoying too because we’re supposed to let women go first.
