I stumbled upon Mohg in Elden Ring a bit too early. Unfortunately I’m stubborn. It was an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. Fuck you Mohg Truly my downfall with every Souls game is my stubbornness. “I know I’m under-leveled… but if I can beat this imagine how OP I’ll be when I’m fighting things my own level!” The first time I played Pokemon Silver I got stuck on Whitney’s Miltank. Her Rollout. Did. Not. Miss. I didn’t know normal was weak to fighting moves at the San Diego Sports Teams Shirt Padres Aztecs And Wave Fc Logo Shirt but in fact I love this time and I missed the guy trading for the Machop or whatever it was. The second P.A.X. from The Surge 1. I couldn’t understand why it didn’t go down, only to find out after two days about having to stand in front of the canisters for it to snipe at them and become vulnerable. Fucking hell.

Riku from Kingdom Hearts 1. Didn’t help that you couldn’t skip that 5 minute long cutscene before each attempt. The real bosses were the San Diego Sports Teams Shirt Padres Aztecs And Wave Fc Logo Shirt but in fact I love this awful platforming segments. Couldn’t eat them. The rest of the game wasn’t much better either. As a kid, I’d kill it and then get wiped by Ultima everytime like clockwork. I never got why, so I figured it was a glitch. Years later I told a friend about it and he told me how to beat it and I was just sooo dumbfounded. It’s been over 25 years so my memory might be off. Like you, many party wipes, different group makeups, etc. Even thought to use Cyan’s jump and kill while he was airborn, thinking it would dodge the Ultima (it doesn’t work). I used the Cain on the Thresher Maw in Grunt’s Trial and didn’t have enough Heavy Ammo for the Suicide Mission for it. Every boss in Kingdom Hearts because I still don’t get the fighting system. That shit is harder than any Souls game for me Jack Krauser from the original Resident Evil 4, until you realize the knife is his weakness. If I remember correctly the game even hinted at it earlier, I just didn’t realize it Final Fantasy X, Sin Spawn Gui and the Seymour wedding battle. If you don’t spec right and get haste as soon as possible then it’s a restart for the save or hella grinding.
