Literally the Samantha Fox English pop singer and former glamour model T-Shirt moreover I love this best decision. I gave up alcohol this year at 39 and I’m so glad I did. Never liked it all that much anyway. I just didn’t want to be left out. Good for you! It’s definitely not lame. I used to drink A LOTTT in my teens & even at 20. I lost my brother when I was 21 due to his own alcoholism and I pretty much decided then & there that I was basically done with alcohol because it broke me to continue consuming the exact thing that had just taken my only blood sibling away from me. That was January 2009 and I don’t actually think I will ever recover from that. My husband also doesn’t drink because alcoholism runs in his family from his younger brother & dad. We’re both 36 1/2 now and we might drink once a year, if that. As of today’s date, neither of us has drank since New Year’s Day 2023. We don’t miss it, and we don’t feel like we’re missing out due to not drinking.

Like smoking, drinking can become habitual, bad for your health, and very expensive. Smoker of 20+ years, and daily drinker for the last 4+ years. Last year I was spending at least $350 a month on cigarettes, and alcohol a month. I get my stuff cheap, and drink at home. I have heard of smokers/drinkers spending upward of $500-700 a month. Public drinking is even more expensive. You risk gaining a lot of weight, and possibly high blood pressure. That’s the minimal health risks when you consider cancer is also a factor. I’m currently 46, having to diet, and ween myself of both smoking, and drinking. It’s hard as fuck. Don’t put yourself through it just to fit in.
