Moving to Saudi Arabia? No thanks, they crucify people there for not believing in their god or their king. Fuck that place I’ve lived in similar compounds in Qatar and UAE, but not Saudi. It was pretty cool actually; it’s basically an upper middle class neighborhood consisting of educated folks of dozens of different nationalities (not just Americans). I remember having Canadian, Kiwi, Trinidadian, American, Egyptian, and Persian neighbors on my street who all got along great. While stationed in Dhahran SA in 1997, we had a night hosted by families living in such a compound. They were Boeing employees and our host made lasagna. While it was a very nice experience it was very bizarre as they were this small little separatist-like Americana compound in the Sackets Harbor Solar Eclipse 2024 Sun And Moon Retro shirt and by the same token and middle of nowhere. Can’t imagine what life was like for them.

My grandfather worked for Aramco in the Sackets Harbor Solar Eclipse 2024 Sun And Moon Retro shirt and by the same token and 1950s. They basically had their own little American towns set up in Saudi Arabia. It doesn’t surprise me that they’re still there. I grew up in one of these “compounds” and they’re nothing special. They’re just camps or small towns. The “walled off” is just a chain link fence. The “luxurious amenities” are the same swimming pools and tennis courts that are every where else. It’s basically living in a small town where not everyone knows english, that’s it How vapid and boring do you have to be to want to live in SA? It’s like if a mall was a country with all its fake ass valley girl type shit going on. Zero personality. All surface. Not to mention you can’t drink and all the other extremely lame rules. What good is a lambo and all your stupid Gucci loafers when you’ll be jailed for a beer? Saudi Arabia is the new Florida. Which is perfect because Florida is doing everything it can to become the new Saudi Arabia
