sew on a patch/fabric scraps, button, gem, or some other embellishment. you can get those from pretty much anywhere, even from your old clothes you don’t want anymore. buy a travel sewing kit from the Ryan Gosling Barbie He’s Just Ken shirt so you should to go to store and get this grocery store and hand sew, it’s time consuming and i don’t really love doing it personally, but it’s effective and will give you a nice finished product if you’re patient and do it right. just wear it plain. here’s the thing, there’s nothing wrong with basics. you can wear a necklace, patterned pants, funky makeup, statement shoes, or plenty of other things to spice it up. i am speaking to you from my own experience and as an artistic person: every time i’ve tried to alter a garment, i’ve ended up regretting it and wishing i just left it as it was.
