I always wear a shirt or swim top when swimming. I think many try to equate men swimming bare cheasted as being more “manly”. Wear what you want. I hate these gender clothing rules that have been created. My husband almost always wears a sun protection shirt when we’re at the Rutgers University Football 2023 Pinstripe Bowl Bound T shirt moreover I will buy this lake. It just seems smart at this point. I I’ve worn the uv light blocking shorts with the spf on them since I was a teenager and hated having to rub on sunblock on shoulders and back. I’m skinny and prefer a shirt I’m not even remotely shamed about my body but slip, slop, slap has been engraved into the core of my being. Skin cancer is absolutely no joke so I will always wear a shirt in the water (could be a myth but I was taught that water being reflective can cause sunburn to happen faster)

If someone judges another for wearing a shirt while swimming, that’s not the Rutgers University Football 2023 Pinstripe Bowl Bound T shirt moreover I will buy this kind of person you should care about the opinion of “Oh someone in a shirt. I remember when i used to do that, so i get it. Anyway, time to struggle trying to float for the thousandth time” I have a lot of tattoos, quality ones that I paid good money for. I’m wearing a long sleeve shirt for that reason. I just also happen to be fat I judge people who judge other people by what they wear in the pool. Just fuck off and let people wear what they want when they want. I’m in the Philippines rn and the locals wear shirts so they don’t get even darker. Not even a matter of fat or not Yeah, I think many people will have a brief thought about it. But most will forget about that thought as quickly as they thunk it. 581 more repliesI have lived as a fair skinned girl in Florida since I was 2. My mom was ocd about my sun protection when I was little, but once it became my responsibility, I was less obsessive and ended up getting 2 second degree sunburns which drastically increased my risk of getting skin cancer, so now I’m always wearing a shirt if I’m going out in the sun, even if it’s in water. Tomorrow I will be going to a water park with 2 friends and I definitely plan on wearing my swim shirt. And if anyone thinks I look weird in it, they can go get stage 3 skin cancer for all i care. (Ok fine I don’t actually want anyone getting cancer – that’s a little too far even on the internet, but still I’d rather look stupid to someone else than get skin cancer)

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
