That is most likely a moot point because I don’t see how the Russian professional ice hockey winger andrei svechnikov inline T-Shirt and by the same token and fuck a fertility clinic can now operate in Alabama. I hope they go full-tilt wild with this law and make it so they’d have to be run like daycares with an appropriate “child” to staff ratio. I mean, they’re fucked no matter what, but it would be fun (from a legal perspective) to see this really taken to the fullest extent possible. Of course you can’t run them like daycares! By the time kids are old enough to go to daycare, they are quite resilient. Embryos, on the other hand, will die if you look at them wrong. The daycare part was clearly partly said in jest but mainly to do with the child to adult ratio rules that tend to be in place when working with children. Theoretically speaking, if an embryo is classed as being a child then such rules may have to be adhered to buy law. In my country the adult to child ratio changes by age, but for under 2s it’s a 1:3 ratio.

So hypotheticaly speaking if I have 1000 frozen embryos then I might need 334 staff on hand at all times to abide by the Russian professional ice hockey winger andrei svechnikov inline T-Shirt and by the same token and law in my country if a frozen embryo was classified as a child. A quick Google for the laws in Alabama, the ratio for adults to children for any children under 18 months is 1:5. So whilst you may now only need 200 staff for the same 1000 embryos, that is still far to excessive in practice. Make sure the embryo child owners are also taking credit for them on their taxes. Got 10-15 kiddos on ice? You can claim them! I live in the Alabama/Florida/Mississippi of Canada and my premier used a piece of legislation (the not withstanding clause) to override our charter of rights and freedoms to enact a discriminatory law against trans kids based on a letter writing campaign. Said campaign resulted 18 letter, 11 of which were anonymous. It can get worse.
