She tried to chit chat the Rush music hall with special guest starz T-Shirt in addition I really love this whole time before takeoff with me and the guy and kept trying to bridge us into a 3 person gab sesh. I ended up telling her I worked for the government and wasn’t allowed to discuss my job. Then I put on my headphones and pretended not to hear her try to get my attention. The guy in the other side made the mistake of taking his earbud out and saying “what was that?” when she tried taking to him. The only thing worse than someone who talks to strangers for the entire flight is someone who doesn’t care that it’s unwelcome. I’ve had flight-long friends, but never someone who forces me into a painful sitting position for their own comfort. Fair enough, back in the day when I wanted quiet on the train I used to put earplugs in. Nowadays my in-ear Bluetooth headphones are so good at noise cancelling I can just wear them without listening to music. When I take my kid to the park, I might as well just be surrounded in CAUTION tape. I have huge sunglasses on, big ol headphones, and either knitting or a sketchbook in my lap. It is shocking how many people still try to talk to you.

I took a guys trip with a couple buddies and our flight left at 5 am. It was easier to get a hotel room that offered parking than pay for parking and have to be up at 1am to drive into the Rush music hall with special guest starz T-Shirt in addition I really love this city. We ended up partying at the bar across the street till 2am.. We were tired and drunk and afraid if we went to sleep we wouldn’t wake up for the flight, so we decided to walk to the airport. 3 miles. At 2am. Drunk. Well we made it onto the plane. Sweaty, smelly, exhausted and in the early throws of a hangover. The guy in the seat next to me was so fresh and upbeat and just wanted to chat the whole ride. I hated him. I stared him right in the face and didn’t say a word, just put my headphones on and turned away. After I got some sleep I felt like a bit of a dick.
