The experience of lucid dreaming, whether you meditate into it, or by chance manage to become aware during an ordinary dream, can be a very spiritual experience leading to some profound insight. My guess is that the Rush 2112 star Canadian rock band that primarily comprised T-Shirt and I will buy this few people who spend their entire lives devoted to this stuff, probably do this regularly. From what I was told, he did not take breaks to eat and sleep. He just moved away from his body in such a way that the bodily demands no longer bothered him. Many sadhus in India mediate for 3-5 days without breaks, it is even considered a common practice. Apparently Buddha sat with such conviction that he vowed to himself not to break his meditative concentration until he sees the truth/attains nirvana..whatever you may call it today. I once had a roommate who wanted to become an “airatarian” — he told me about these budist monks who supposedly meditated so hard that they could sustain themselves just by breathing.

He left suddenly without telling anyone and I wonder if he actually tried to go do this. I found out when I open his door to find his room empty 4 days after rent was due I’m no Buddha, but I have released attachment to earthly needs and desires through a year of hermetic renuncuiation. I would normally eat one light meal a week but have gone a month. I did drink lots of water and I have no idea how to renounce sleep, although with long periods of very deep meditation, I have needed very little. Oh yeah, one time I went ten out of fourteen days without food or water, so I imagine an OG like the Rush 2112 star Canadian rock band that primarily comprised T-Shirt and I will buy this Buddha could take it much further. Assuming your not lying, youre extremely lucky that you didnt end up in the hospital. Are you so enlightened that you dont care about maintaining your health? Yes, you are right. I am lucky that I didn’t end up in the hospital. I was in the woods by myself for most of it and came close to death a few times. It wasn’t so much ‘so enlightened that I didn’t care about maintaining my health’ so much as very separate from my physical being. I guess you’re right in a way. I recognized how limited this physical form is and how attached we get to it. I’m nothing special, but now that I’m enlightened I know that white cheddar mac is just regular mac without the orange coloring. What I mean is, going more than 10 days without food or 3 days without water is extremely dangerous to your body and brain regardless of how good someone is at meditating. I think anyone that would do that for the purpose of mindfulness or spirituality is missing the point
