It’s the Running The Country Is Likeriding A Bike Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this cult of consumerism that makes people seek out new phones every year. Apple in particular has a large segment of it’s client base who camp out in front of It’s stores for days in advance like they are in line for concert tickets for a band who is retiring and only doing one final set in their area. It’s a cult like following of people ready to discard their perfectly good phone and spend $1,000 or more on a new one that performs the same exact functions. I don’t get it. My iPhone X (and 7) both still work perfectly fine but once I tried the 13 pro there’s just no going back. It’s so nice being able to open apps instantly and now I feel like I’m limited by how fast I can think/tap than by the phone. Saving 2-3s every time I want to use my phone for something adds up real quick. I felt a similar way when the X came out with the Face ID. At least for me, it’s not about the phone breaking but more that it just becomes obsolete.

Maybe just treat your electronics better? I had an S4 for a good 4-5 years and now I’ve had an s8 for a good 3-4 years, screen is cracked but I’m not getting a new phone till this thing just doesnt work anymore. Only phone I had that actually fucked itself up on it’s own was the Running The Country Is Likeriding A Bike Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this LG G4, but those things were notorious for melting themselves. I had to take a hair dryer to the back of it to make the connections touch on the mobo just long enough to pull all my shit off of it lol I overheard an Apple employee in Apple store tell some lady phones are only meant to last 2 years, she was there to get her existing iphone fixed. Says all I need to know about their marketing, selling & culture practices right there. Months later also had the same experience when my iPhone supposedly had water damage, I took it to 3rd party to get microphone fixed & they said there were no signs of water damage. Fuck apple. Never had a problem, and I use them for 3 years or more. My MacBook was 8 years old. Try that with other brands.
