Read the RUI HACHIMURA Japanese professional basketball player Los Angeles Lakers T-Shirt in contrast I will get this entire employee handbook and straight-up bullet pointed an email of every policy they were breaking and quoted the policies they stated existed (they didn’t) and corrected them with snapshot pictures. Right, so fucking weird to anyone outside the US. Makes no sense, the fuck I’m gonna let patty down the road tell me what colour I can paint my shed??? Da fuck. Because other first world countries just use municipal bylaws and government zoning rules to do the same thing lmao. If you have a car on cinderblocks on your front lawn your local government will fine you until you remove it but in the US the government doesn’t have that power so the same process happens through private HOAs. HOAs are how conservatives think all of society should be structured. The government has zero say in what you can do with your property but you can give up your rights through a contractual agreement between private citizens and the government will enforce that contract through the court system.

This is why I never understand those economic Libertarians: if you can’t trust the RUI HACHIMURA Japanese professional basketball player Los Angeles Lakers T-Shirt in contrast I will get this government then how could you trust a couple of office-dwelling suits? They don’t trust them, but they assume that in their perfect world they could just shoot anyone who cheats them. That’s because they don’t want that hippy dippy stoner bringing down the property value by doing artistic stupid shit to their front yard being a complete eye sore. Ever drove around in the countryside and pass by a house littered with rusty old cars and garbage all over the front and side yard of their home? Facts the only time I lived in an HOA neighborhood. The people on the board all had the most violations and of course got free passes on them. This is why I will never, ever live in any place that has an HOA. If the neighbors can see enough to make a complaint to begin with they’re too close for starters. Past that, the fucking audacity and gall to even attempt to tell me what I can and can’t do with my own property will do nothing more than me using every connection I have from working with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to make your life a living hell. Literally every single thing within the law that all my police officer, federal agent, and various levels of SF friends can educate me on then gets targeted upon said dickwad, without remorse, and in perpetuity…
