As for the Rose Nylund character from the sitcom television series Golden Girls T-Shirt besides I will buy this city centre, for one Birmingham is a dispersed city made of several villages that grew into each other. Mosely, Harborne, the JQ, Stirchley, Edgbaston, Digbeth are all areas that are an Uber ride away from each other and each have things to do, the city centre is not as much of a focal point as say Manchester. Also I think for whatever reason Birmingham hasn’t recovered so well from lockdown and has been noticeably quieter since. If you ever visit Birmingham again then have a look at the ‘Independent Birmingham’ website, you’ll be amazed at what you’re missing out on! Reddit is the wrong place to ask for an honest answer. And that’s coming from a Brummie who is looking to move out ASAP. I’m from London and I agree about Birmingham. For our “2nd city”, the town centre is pathetically small, dreary and underwhelming. London might as well be a different planet in terms of scale and general impressiveness. Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester and Bristol all have much more attractive city centres. However, Birmingham as a whole is very spread out and has some lovely villages and suburbs. It’s probably a great place to raise a family, but a disappointment if you’re after some urban buzz.

I personally think as a southerner that Birmingham has a huge population concentrated in a poorly designed city. Last time I went someone came up randomly and made a racist remark to my partner. In the Rose Nylund character from the sitcom television series Golden Girls T-Shirt besides I will buy this middle of the day. I just find it a bit chavvy? I’ve never experienced anything else like that, apart from just outside Birmingham with the stares from old people. The problem is they can’t decide where the ground floor is. You start at a new street platform , go up a floor, go up again. Now either you go out at McDonald’s, or you walk over the top of tk maxx. Now you are on floor 2 of bullring, so you walk out and go to the ground floor of Primark. Then you go down to floor -2 and walk out to moor street. Then you go to the Chinese quarter ,but go the wong way, so you are on floor 1 of another car park.
