Not feeling like I had to go anywhere and having more money, wasn’t much to spend anything on and no football to gamble on either haha! The ability to stay home and not have to justify why I want to relax after a week of work instead of going here, there and everywhere I don’t necessarily miss lockdown, not being able to just nip to the Ronald Acuna Jr. Atlanta Vintage Baseball shirt But I will love this shops or go watch something was a pain. However I do miss Furlough. Just being able to get up, go out for a walk and come home with no care of work was great. Obviously not sustainable with nobody working. Nothing. I was working from home every day and at the end of it and weekends I was still at home every day. This grew very thin quite quickly. Passed my driving test at 27 in lockdown. I have quite bad anxiety so driving to work with empty roads for a while felt like the world had stopped for me. That and the late night, group FaceTimes calls my friends and I would have. Whether we played Cod or just talked about what’s going on in the world I was getting paid a full time wage and only working one week a month, the weather was amazing, BBQ’s and beers in the garden every day. Literally the only “good” thing was that I was saving more money because I didn’t pay for train tickets / lunches at work. Everything else about lockdown was absolutely terrible.

I’m the Ronald Acuna Jr. Atlanta Vintage Baseball shirt But I will love this same as you OP. Friend group would meet on zoom every couple of weeks, trivia, drinks, general fun times. Now we see each other at Christmas, and the group WhatsApp is also dead. Now I’m still not going out as much, but cost of living has bitten into any spending money I have after all my bills go out. I was on the underground at 8.30am the other day and just looked around to see everyone and me crammed up against each other just so we could get to work. When I managed to get furloughed it was great, got a temp job and cleared off a credit card, had loads of free time. Watched tons of podcasts and played video games. April to July 2020 was fantastic. Then I had to go back to a job I hated but since left.
