How was that song added to pad the movie’s running time when The Rocky Horror Picture Show shirt in the original stage play? I call shenanigans. First, most theaters today do have many rules that do include banning certain props such as rice. All of the songs in the movie were already a part of the stage show. The song that was written specifically to lengthen the show was Eddie’s Teddy, but that was in the stage version before the movie. The Time Warp was written for a variety of reasons. Midnight is the most common time for The Rocky Horror Picture Show shirt to be shown, but there are some theaters in my area that show it at other times. I definitely get it. In my day my cast was within an hour’s drive of 4+ other casts, there were shows you could go to Friday or Saturday, casts doing multiple shows per night around Halloween and such… It was glorious. Stage productions were always fun. I saw David Arquette as Frank in Hollywood, and Tony Head, Bijou Philips, and other minor celebrities do RHPS karaoke at the 25th-anniversary con in Vegas.

Balloons, maybe not, but… balloon-like objects are often tossed around during the preshow. I’m not in charge of procuring them, but there is a high likelihood that they’ll be latex.
