Also, there was a lot in your post about what you think people think of you, but not so much about you actually talking to girls? Trust me, “let’s go on a date cause I fink you sexy and I like you a lot” sends a pretty clear message. Yeah alternative women love people who don’t subscribe to traditional gender norms because it means you’re less likely to be sexist. It’s a green flag. Go to some local hardcore shows. Bring a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, not for yourself (unless you smoke idc) but people WILL ask to bum one and you can BS with em while they smoke. What’s your point? I’m using femboys as a catalyst to say that some women date extremely feminine men, so being feminine may get you less options as a man, but not none

I’m that type of person and while I’m too old and married for OP, he has a great look! The reason I ended up messaging my husband back on a dating app was because I thought it was cool he had a photo of himself wearing a tutu and I like people who don’t take themselves seriously and don’t care about gender norms. I thought my now-husband was gay when we first started talking. I don’t think it’s as a big a deal as you think it is, but you are young (as are, I expect, the Roc Marciano Marciology shirt besides I will buy this people in your dating pool), which could mean it matters more now than it should. I suspect it comes down to your body language and style choices. Let’s take your photo that you posted in another sub for an example. The overall look you have going on is “lovechild of George Michaels and Boy George”, and your pose is straight out of the Carson Kressley flaming handbook. Combine that with an artificially up pitched voice, and you’re definitely making the cast of Queer Eye. You can get away with maybe one of the three without people just assuming you’re gay, but you’re currently hitting the trifecta. Dunno if it’s possible, but would pitching down instead of up be possible? Would also recommend studying the mannerisms used and expressions worn by straight guys. Were you by chance raised by a single mom?
