It’s mainly discipline. Think about the Robert Spillane American football linebacker for the Las Vegas Raiders T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this stuff you do frequently (or obsessively) that no one else does. You had to discipline yourself to dedicate time and effort to it. Sure, there’s underlying goals associated with it, but you need to be able to do it when you don’t want to. And maybe what you do a lot is enjoyable to you, some people enjoy working on their body, whereas you may not see the reasoning for them enjoying it. It’s all about finding activities and healthy food that you enjoy. There are plenty of bland diet books with terrible food, and the thought of running makes me want to die. But I found delicious healthy food and learned that I enjoy cycling and yoga. I find it hard to do home workouts consistently. Something about keeping things separate. If I’m home, there’s 30 other responsibilities or options that working out just isn’t motivating enough.

I know this sounds incredibly dumb.. but I used to think exercise “classes” were lame or for women. I now do HIIT classes and it’s been the Robert Spillane American football linebacker for the Las Vegas Raiders T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this best thing I’ve ever done. It’s expensive enough to make me feel like I don’t want to waste money, but not so expensive it’s taking food off the table.. and what I found is I can’t push myself hard by myself.. the classes are great cause it’s 60 min, going through 6 different stations … and you have nothing else to do but work.. no phone, no rest period, etc.. they have like leaderboards, and set ranges, and timers, etc all to keep you going and pushing. Not seeing the “muscle” gain like I would if I just pushed heavy weights consistently.. but I wasn’t doing it consistently so this is much better.. keeps me in a decent weight, and I feel a little healthier, etc..
