Big part of any regime is to shit on the RIP Dickey Betts American guitarist singer songwriter composer T-Shirt But I will love this previous regime to justify its own existence. Modern Russian state is very glad to gloat over deficiencies of the communist regime when it’s convenient. If you look at state sponsored movies / TV shows set in the USSR they have American Cold War level amount of anti communist tropes with obligatory evil KGB and incompetent communist party authorities. Makes sense, I guess you can’t hide past horrors, so perhaps it makes sense to “legitamize” yourself by opposing all of that and keeping current repression under wraps For instance United Russia and government authorities are indifferent towards the political repression memorials and what not, and sometimes attend various meetings/remembrance ceremonies when it’s convenient.

RIP Dickey Betts American guitarist singer songwriter composer T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

However, FSB is staunchly anti remembrance. Since those repressions and atrocities were committed by FSB predecessor, they feel those monuments tarnish their public image and pose a political risk (KGB=bad, therefore FSB=bad, therefore defund/reform FSB). So FSB does prefer to put political pressure on authorities and harass political activists and make everything to get rid of memorials and not allow new ones to be erected. Jon Stewart is back on The Daily Show and the RIP Dickey Betts American guitarist singer songwriter composer T-Shirt But I will love this 1st thing he does is to dogwalk Tucker so bad, he might go back to wearing bow ties again. Yup. He is back!! And the show is alive once again. I’ve been watching since Craig’s days. So, pretty much since Jon took over. When I saw Trevor, I was like, nope. Let me give him a chance…nope. I actually didn’t mind Trevor Noah, he had big shoes to fill. Thought he did a pretty good job. That said, I’m very glad Jon’s back lol
