Raise me to believe that it wasn’t ok to cry as a boy. I absolutely will not raise my kids like that when I have them. I’ll never tell them “you’re too sensitive” after berating them (welll..also won’t berate them, so that’s a twofer). Won’t let an elder relative speak Ill to them in their own house and them make them take it because “you have to respect your elders” Since the Ric Flair Professional wrestling managerprofessional wrestler T-Shirt moreover I will buy this day each of my 4 kids were born, I have always said “Good night, love you, see you in the morning”. I also made sure to give them a hug or a kiss at least once a day. They’re almost all adults now and I still do it…even my 16 & 18 yr old sons will come and give me a hug and kiss before they go to bed if I’m a little bit late Made me feel physically responsible for my medical costs. I don’t hold a grudge, they had 4 kids and a single income. They were great parents, and I love them so much, but that did a number on me. I know exactly how much every filling I had to get cost, along with my braces. I still struggle with spending any money on myself, regardless of need.

They helped me a bit with college, which was amazing, but when I had to take out a private loan and the Ric Flair Professional wrestling managerprofessional wrestler T-Shirt moreover I will buy this interest rate through sally mae was 18% unless they cosigned they yelled at me that I clearly was irresponsible that they would even suggest that interest rate. They cosigned, but it was after a huge fight and I felt horrible. When I didn’t have the money or scholarships to pay for my last semester (I worked 1 full time job, 1 part time, had an internship, maxed out credit hours and lived on my own with a roommate) I dropped out because I didn’t feel like asking them for any sort of help was an option. I didn’t tell them for almost a decade, and when I finally did they cried and told me they were so sorry that they made me feel like I couldn’t come to them. I know they feel horrible for that, they just didn’t know at the time how much damage they were doing.
