For those who didn’t read the Recycling To Protect Our Environment T-Shirt also I will do this article, boy was playing with dog in his front yard. Shooter was walking down the sidewalk, crossed the driveway and dog approached the sidewalk and was barking at shooter (per neighbor). Man shoots dog in head from about 2 feet away. Police didn’t file charges because dog was off leash. Video is pretty much useless. The part where the dog closes on the man and he shoots isn’t visible, as the camera is blocked by a parked SUV. That being said, the video went out of its way to blame the family for not having a fence or having the dog on a leash, being controlled by an adult, and made it clear the guy did nothing legally wrong. And the dog did not seem to be threatening- tail wagging, casual behaviour. Sure, an SUV blocked a lot of what happened, but the guy didn’t seem to be at any risk.

I’m just curious in what world is it considered acceptable to walk around with a .22 pistol in a neighborhood with kids? A .22 is not an effective self defence caliber and is mostly used on smaller animals (or at least that’s what I was taught when I was growing up), which makes me suspect the Recycling To Protect Our Environment T-Shirt also I will do this guy needed an ego boost by carrying a gun or he was hoping to shoot a small animal. Thanks. Yeah, my adblocker must have stopped it. And thanks for your feedback of the situation. I agree that the shooter seems like an awful person. Though I tried to stay neutral as I hadn’t watched the video. Fuck that human. That human is an absolute waste of space. The world does not need people like that. I hope justice is served. Animal Control and local PD decided not to press charges, but does it mean that State or DoJ cannot step in either? Because this could be considered a hate crime against a PwD in some jurisdictions.
