What boggles my mind is that they say it right in their response: “She should get all the Real Peanut Cartoon House Red shirt Apart from…,I will love this medical care and help she needs.” But they’re voting for the very people hell bent on taking away what we do have, and preventing anything new from benefiting the American people. Women are being told to carry until term regardless on the health of the fetus. It can be born without a head, and they’ll still make women carry, knowing full well that child will not miraculously grow a head in the birth canal. And there are no programs to alleviate the financial burden, and no programs for counseling post birth. Republican votes constantly contradict what they believe a perfect world ought to be. A ten year old child giving birth to her rapist’s baby isn’t something for which any program, state or federal, can cover. The financial destruction, the physical torture they wish to inflict on someone so small and so helpless cannot be ‘should’d’ away. There is no system in place to alleviate the short term traumas and the long term horrors of forced birth, and republicans vote that way on purpose. Anyway, not mad at you, just wish I could sit your aunt and uncle down myself and point out how the way they vote promotes the torture of women and children.

A 10 year old child cannot safely give birth. It is extremely dangerous (not to mention unthinkable for any decent human being) to put a child through that kind of physical and mental torture. Her ‘baby’ is making her unsafe; it is, in fact, threatening her life. The only safe thing to do is to terminate the Real Peanut Cartoon House Red shirt Apart from…,I will love this fetus and that’s the medical fact. I went to school with a girl, who freshmen year, had a 4 year old. She was 15. She wasn’t able to get an abortion at 11 without parental consent I believe, and iirc it was a creepy family member by marriage. They were also nutjob Christians too. This was, 2006ish. I just remember funny thing was the class she was in was a specialized health class(familial health or something) and the teacher (a man) was spouting off some bullshit about how pregnancy and childbirth was sunshine and rainbows and she called him out on everything. When he said she’s got no idea, she asked if she could prove the next day she’s more than capable of talking about pregnancy and childbirth. He said sure. Next day she brings in her kid, and all the photos about the entire situation. After that, that particular class was only taught by women.
