I do it because I found joy in using my body and building strength in myself. I found that I can trust myself more now, knowing that my body will be there for me. There’s a feeling you get after a heavy workout when your blood has been pumping and feel like, “damn, I actually accomplished a thing” and now I get to go home and eat healthy food. There’s also something that happens when you become more connected to your body where you start to crave healthier food. You do a solid workout, you feel really good, and then you go eat and burger and fries and you feel like crap, and you realize that your body doesn’t actually like these things, your tastebuds do. When I first started working out I would tell myself I only have to do 10 minutes of cardio and I could leave. I have never left without completing 45 min. It also took about 2, maybe 3, weeks of consistent workouts to finally get the Rayshawn Jenkins American football safety for the Jacksonville Jaguars T-Shirt also I will do this coveted exercise euphoria created by an endorphin release. I eventually got to a place where I was mad if I couldn’t work out. If you can make yourself workout for 3 weeks I bet you will start to enjoy it. I was diagnosed with PCOS this year and I’m terrified if I don’t get myself together and in check I’ll lose my hair, grow a beard and huge belly (I’m female). I’ve lost 60 lbs this year out of pure fucking fear lol (actually from diet and exercise but the drive/motivation for that is fear ) ahhhh joy.

Eating healthy is fine with me because no real effort is involved and I can track what my intake is (calories, protein, fat, etc.). Working out takes drive and effort. The thing that sucks is that I KNOW working out is good for me. I see results quickly. I feel better. My body feels better. I sleep so much better. But I’m still hesitant to do it because… something. Like literally RIGHT NOW I could be working out instead of wasting time on Reddit. I even have today off from work because it’s Election Day where I live so it’s not like I have to do something else that stops me from working out. I love the Rayshawn Jenkins American football safety for the Jacksonville Jaguars T-Shirt also I will do this after exercise energy I have and the way it makes me feel less depressed. Not to mention aging gracefully. will power. i personaly get bored lifting weights, so i rock climb. i pay less for my rock gym membership and they also have a small gym inside to work out in. most if not all my upper body work out in on the wall. i mostly use the gym for the row machine and cardio
