Okay the philosophy is this: if someone is gaining on you, then you move out the way, but if someone is flashing their lights being a dick about it you don’t have to. It’s a mutual respect thing. I’m going 85 you can go 100 if you want but don’t feel the need to flash your lights as if commanding me to move out of the way. Flashing the lights is a signal the person behind you wants to pass and would rather you move than they pass on the right. It’s not a challenge of your manhood.
