Question: what exactly is intent to injure? Because if that wasn’t, then idk what is. I honestly don’t understand how this is justifiable if they watched the Queen’s elizabeth iI platinum jubilee ladies jubilee celebration shirt moreover I love this clip. DoPS is a goddamn joke. Spurgeon deserved at least a game, probably two, for such a punkass move. I don’t care if this wasn’t the norm for him, he tried to snap an ankle, he needs to sit. Now there will be blood and DoPS can look in amirror as to why. According to CapFriendly, Spurgeon makes $7,575,000 per season. A $5,000 fine represents 0.066% of his annual salary. That’s the equivalent of about $44 for the median American household. Spurgeon’s attack was a direct hit with his body weight to the Achilles’ tendon with intent to damage. Forget missing the playoffs, that’s the type of injury that can derail an entire career. This punishment is a joke. Do I even need to make the whole “The Rangers have been fined $250,000 for calling this a steaming pile of dog crap” joke? Seriously DoPS, what the hell?

Can I just say that it’s awesome to see Minny fans recognize what happened and pretty much all agree that this was another garbage ruling by the Queen’s elizabeth iI platinum jubilee ladies jubilee celebration shirt moreover I love this DOPS. Props to all I get that there was some frustration but dude that was a Busch league play. He absolutely meant to cause harm. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he didn’t mean to actually end the dudes season and it happened in the heat of the moment but this league needs to get its shit together. It’s gonna be a blood bath the next couple games. If you think about it, this is really Husso’s fault. If he let 1 or 2 in, our boys wouldn’t be so frustrated. /s just incase someone thinks I’m being serious. The NHL DOPS is eventually going to get someone killed/paralyzed and they only have themselves to blame. At least suspend him one game so the Blues don’t feel obligated to send a message.
