Also, Olio, which is free. It’s based on the Purple Reign Logo shirt and I love this notion of sharing with the community, so it’s even better when your neighbours use it. I use this app mainly for wenzel’s at the end of the day but when I worked in Victoria I would use it to get leftover breakfast items from the local hotels and have then for lunch. For greggs, I now work relatively close to two of their outlet stores where all the food is dirt cheap and better value than a TGTG bag in my opinion. I switched from internet at home (Virgin -£25 pm) and O2 mobile data (Also £25 for 40gb), to unlimited O2 mobile data only for £21, saving £29 pm. I used my phone as a hot spot at home. Have not had any issues except the Alexa no longer shows the time. Internet is faster and I don’t have to worry about running out of mobile data

That is a really interesting idea! Could see it working well if you are housesharing or living alone. Does it destroy your phone battery or do you just keep it permamently on a charger? Unless you’re uploading 4k video to YouTube hourly you’ll probably not hit a fair use policy limit. During pandemic i WFH on my tethered mobile and never had any issues. Isn’t hot spotting for long periods quite intense for your phone, I know mine sometimes has a warning about heating up after doing it for an extended period. So if you were doing that most days for a least a few hours, that could wear out your battery life quicker, costing more in the Purple Reign Logo shirt and I love this long term, especially with battery replacements being harder on newer thinner phones. An alternative which is still pretty good value is Three 5G broadband, I have found the speeds to be pretty good despite Three’s rep. You can get it including a router for £20 p/m, but if you sign up for 24 months you get the first 3 months free, meaning it averages out to just £17.50, hard to beat by any wired broadband especially with comparable speeds.
