The sex of the Punk Rock Anthem Revival Embrace Blink182-Inspired Threads T-Shirt and I love this person affects subjective experience, but if it’s the bar for credibility or expertise, we’re opening a can of worms (a damning headline reads “famed expert on ancient Egypt resigns when found not to have been there when all that stuff happened”, or “Culinary Institute of America grants honorary certifications to all Americans who eat food” if you wanna go in the other direction) What sucks is I don’t disagree with the general intent, but it’s such a frustratingly shitty bit of editorial in such a smug package. On top of that, politicians are likely not passing rotten, oppressive laws because they don’t know better. I mean, it’s totally possible they don’t know better, but their agenda is bad faith political football, pandering to religious demographics. The latter is a non-trivial point, because both major parties are complicit in this back and forth game as it can be used as a distraction or milked each election cycle, with devastating consequences on peoples’ lives.

Well, that settles it. One off hand comment about a random guy; yep all guys are unqualified. Hyuk hyuk hyuk!!! If you try even slightly you can 10s of videos of sitting politicians making insane statements about how they believe women’s bodies function. Some people believe women’s bodies have mechanisms to prevent rape and prevent pregnancy by sheer will. PS. They aren’t just ignorant about biology. They don’t know how computers, phones, the Punk Rock Anthem Revival Embrace Blink182-Inspired Threads T-Shirt and I love this Internet, etc. works either. Just generally an ignorant group of old white men (until recently). Crazy! I had a woman friend with a Ph.D in gender studies ask me how to change a tire. All she really wanted to do was watch me do it for her. So I sent her a YT vid instead and drove off.
