Historical implications aside, the Punisher With Logo Triumph Shirt and by the same token and aspect of Detransition, Baby that truly makes it right for the small (or big!) screen is Peters’s devoted commitment to documenting messiness in all its forms; trans mess, cis mess, queer mess, intra-community mess, the list goes on. “I love trans women, but they drive me fucking crazy. Trans women are fucked up and flawed, and I’m very interested in the ways in which trans women are fucked up and flawed,” Peters told writer Harron Walker in 2018.

If there’s one thing prestige TV has proven itself to be great at, it’s examining the Punisher With Logo Triumph Shirt and by the same token and ways in which we all are “fucked up and flawed,” but that level of filmic introspection is often reserved for cis white men (think of the Sopranos-to-Mad Men pipeline).
