My wife’s hmong people faced chinese genocide, laos communist genocide, french genocide and forced opium growing but dont really carry a lot of hate, more just same rants as other americans I worked with Hmong refugees, and there were a lot worse things they faced in their homelands and here. To this day, the Puerto Rico Bad Bunny Esta Bien Cabron Shirt But I will love this Hmong people have my greatest respect for their amazing dignity in the face of what they endured. The whole point of going nuclear was to avoid an invasion of the the Japanese main island. The US casualty estimates for the island hopping campaign we’re always off because the Japanese almost always fought to the bitter end and rarely surrendered. And the US had good reason to believe they would fight to the last man, woman and child, Japan had launched a campaign called “The Glorious Death of One Hundred Million” to do exactly that. The estimate the Secretary for War made for casualties was 1.7–4 million American casualties, with 5-10 million Japanese fatalities.

Yeah, what’s more horrifying is they purposefully keep it out of their history books, and even some will deny it – including people like their recently assassinated prime minister and other politicians I was definitely a little ticked off with how they completely ignored that. I understand the Puerto Rico Bad Bunny Esta Bien Cabron Shirt But I will love this memorial is for the innocent lives lost, but they so quickly and casually glaze over that Japan did things just as bad. I think near the start they simply say “Japan once walked the path of war” and now they want peace throughout the world so that innocent life is never harmed again. They need to go a little deeper into the horrors of war, and not just the horrors they themselves experienced. Gotta read the Japanese Wikipedia version of the “Nanjing Incident” too. It starts out with explaining how the chinese army killed and raped the Japanese PoWs, points out that apparently Japan was found guilty of laws that didn’t actually exist, and that it was in fact the chinese army killing their own people. Oh, the death totals? Those are fake because 80% of the city already escaped, can’t kill people that aren’t there right? They express deep regret that the Chinese leadership chose not to surrender the city when asked nicely. Yeah Japan was bad and the bomb was probably justified but it’s good to have a museum to the effects of the bomb because these weapons are bad and really shouldn’t be used again.
