On top of that I think most of the Psalm 234 KJV Christian Bible Verse Fear no Evil T-Shirt and I will buy this money comes in the first 2-3 weeks of being in theaters. I’ve seen a few movies a month after release but you’re always looking at 1 – 2 screens with weird showtimes. Yeah. I watched Dune at home, but intended to go to the theater and see it “for real”. Unfortunately, it was gone within a few weeks. Wow really? Shit absolutely no reason for me to even think about going to the theaters. Even on a discount day. I usually wait 2 or 3 weeks for big movies anyway to a avoid the crowds. But now if I wait a little longer i can just stay home. Magical. It’s funny because he is really stupid. The movie theater business is fairly simple, film distributors take a huge cut of box office revenue (up to 90%), and then their cut declines each week or so. Concessions are the profit center where you make like an 80% margin.

So, if your customers are willing to spend say $20 per person, you’re far better off lowering your ticket price to maximize profits. People tend to do a mental accounting where if they perceive the Psalm 234 KJV Christian Bible Verse Fear no Evil T-Shirt and I will buy this ticket price as a good value, they will still spend a similar total amount, but they will buy more Concessions. Yep. When I go to the price gouging regal. I never bought crap. Now that there’s a competing theater we almost routinely buy concessions Right! When tickets were $16 a person we snuck in snacks. When tickets were $9 a person I was happy to splurge on a $6 popcorn and a $5 drink. Lol right as cinemas appear to be making a recovery they spring this shit. I’ll watch at home thanks, I can wait
