I got text message like that from the Proud Mom Of A 2024 Graduate Im Not Crying Youre Crying shirt and I will buy this “rector” of my parish (using an incorrect domain) asking me to go to the store to get $800 of Apple gift cards. I was in the hospital with pneumonia, on an IV drip. I asked the “rector” if he wanted me to disconnect the IV drip, get dressed, call a Lyft to pick me up and take me to the supermarket where I would pick up the cards, go back to the hospital, undress, and reinsert the IV drip. I said I’d have to be very discreet since I was also on a heart monitor. I mean I have ADHD and sometimes it’s really hard for me to detect sarcasm. It might also be on you, not just them. tbh that’s on you. I couldn’t even tell you were being sarcastic. Maybe if this conversation had been irl it would’ve been more easily recognizable, but over text you seemed genuine. Sorry about your health, though. Hope you make a full recovery.

Ive had the Proud Mom Of A 2024 Graduate Im Not Crying Youre Crying shirt and I will buy this same thing happen, someone random would start a conversation, offer their graphic service and not understand no thanks. I accused them of being a bot too I think in situations like this you have to ask “if I don’t ask I won’t know”. This chap clearly took the fact you’ve not said no, so no harm. If you can message a randomer for that long to be sarcy around saying no then you know what, if it’s my future life, I’d ask to. He’s out there trying to make something happen, good for them. I think they just didn’t know sarcasm tbh, not everyone would get it through text so give the guy the benefit of the doubt. If you said no and they still went ahead then it would be annoying. Why do these graphic designers seem like bots though? They’re relentless and always seem to reply straight away! I hope you make a full recovery OP
