He would never hurt or belittle anyone just gave boys some clear boundaries, and known consequences, with a little bit of fear/intimidation which garnered and then maintained that respect. I think the Proud Gammy Of A Class Of 2023 Graduate Senior Graduation T-Shirt besides I will buy this respect is the key driver here, as sometimes for whatever reason the teacher looses the respect, it all goes to shit. When the teacher is just being respectful doesn’t garner the respect required in return by the students other solutions need to be found. I found the teaching method great and I got my best marks in the class and overall he was great teacher. If it’s had been me a) all the phones would have been confiscated at the door and b) I’d have a certain ball firing nerf blaster with a massive hopper on hand for the biggest idiots and c) taken one look at “gluing stuff to paper as work” and gone “fuck no, we’re doing something else”. Because back when I was in year 13 doing Bursary, we had to do something similar for English. None of us were amused and our teacher was fucking pissed off with us the following day.

Probably didn’t help I glued my sheet to the Proud Gammy Of A Class Of 2023 Graduate Senior Graduation T-Shirt besides I will buy this door, but then again I have ADHD, give me something utterly boring and I will do to stupid things to keep myself sane. Of course the teacher in my case was also one who could make Shakespeare boring, and thought Christ’s College students we so much better than us. I think rather than expelling/suspending students when they misbehave and are disruptive etc they should make it mandatory that your parents have to come sit next to you and supervise you in all your classes for a week. The embarrassment of having your parent there with you would straighten you out. Your parent having to take a week off work to sit next to you to ensure you’re not a little shit would also encourage them to raise you to respect your fellow students and teachers.
