Tax evasion is a legal term for an actual crime that has been committed. What she did is no more a crime than retirees moving to a different state to take advantage of various income laws. Tax benefits. The United States is the only industrialized nation that taxes its citizens even if they live abroad, earn no money in the United states, and never return. Given that no one seems to care that Jeff bezos pays an effective tax rate of one and a half percent, while a registered nurse pays 13 and a half, I think I’ll give Tina a pass on this. Idk because we have a choice to live where we want. Plus, she could live in peace. Swedens are polite and treated her with respect of not intruding in her life. So, I don’t blame her for retiring there. Maybe it was not really her choice, so to speak. There are countries that require naturalized citizens to relinquish their previous nationality that means people are not allowed to have dual citizenship. I’m going though this decision right now in The Netherlands, as I live here for a while and qualify both for permanent residence and for naturalization, but I can only go for the second if I relinquish my Brazilian citizenship. I’m not sure, but I believe Switzerland is the same.

This is not the Prospect avenue school alumni shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this case. I’m a Slovenian, born in Switzerland, who applied for swiss citizenship later in life. I have both citizenships now. It’s worded weird, but it means she moved to Switzerland in the early 90s (1994 to be exact). So she lived there for nearly 30 years, though her US citizenship was relinquished only 10 years before her death. She lived in Switzerland for 30 years, where she no doubt paid a lot of taxes. Why should she have been on the hook for US taxes if she did live here?

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
