Nothing anyone does or says can take that away from me and my family. Please cancel this ridiculous debt on our children! Why not change the President Donald Trump photo collage Trump shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this law so that student loan debt can be written off in bankruptcy? This would allow those who are overwhelmed to have their debt reduced in proportion to their actual salary, and not penalize the rest of folks who either didn’t take a loan or paid theirs back. The risk of giving money to people who can’t afford to pay it back should be placed squarely on the banks, not the the average American. Can you imagine the elderly women during the suffrage movement complaining that they never got voting rights, so why should these young whipper snappers? AOC just loves dangling free shit with no thought given to how it’ll be paid for. Forgive student loans now, what happens in a couple years when student loans pile up again and colleges are still raising tuition? Forgiving entire loan is such a stupid idea. Make interest late 0 or something and then pass laws to better regulate tuition

Her statement fails to understand that many recent borrowers sacrificed a lot to pay off their debt (house, marriage, kids, etc), and should be compensated in any bill forgiving student loans This woman only say things but has no plan. She wants forgiveness without income limit because she still hasn’t paid off her student debt and with her income she probably won’t qualify. It wouldn’t make sense for people who didn’t go to college because they couldn’t afford it to be paying for a doctor’s student debt who is making 400k a year. “Oh you’re not going to college? Why? That’s not too smart for your future” 5 years later.. “Student loan forgiveness!” Biggest complaint I have is for the President Donald Trump photo collage Trump shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this guy that cuts yards instead of going to college (or pick another trade). Worked harder, paid taxes throughout, now he’s got to pay someone elses loan off who likely makes more than him. We covering his truck loan? I support a lot of stuff I don’t directly benefit from. Why should I support people’s poor decisions to go out of state and study kinesiology at an over priced private christian university, knowing that shit was too expensive? She could have paid her loan off instead of buying that Tesla. So I guess in a way it is us taxpayers who bought her Tesla for her… How about go after these scam colleges/loan programs who let clueless 18 year olds take out 40k+ loans for a degree in garbage studies?
