I’ve done it- usually early morning though when they want to eat and I want to sleep and they’re flinging stiff off my dresser to force my compliance… i’m allergic to cats so they’re not allowed in my bedroom ever. i feel a little sad about it sometimes but ultimately it’s best for everyone I have 4 furbabies, 13 months old. They have a free run of the Premium what we sow today we reap tomorrows cats T-Shirt in addition I really love this whole house until my bedtime. It’s the only time my room door closes. My cat always wakes me up in the night because she keeps headbumping me all the time. Cuddling is not enough for her..she has to headbump me every 2-3mins to chcek if im still alive or sum? Anyways that’s when I kick her out of the bedroom..I just hope she’s not mad or sad D:

It takes time. My cat is 6 now and he did the Premium what we sow today we reap tomorrows cats T-Shirt in addition I really love this same, zoomirs between 2am and 4am. When I put him out, he would shred the carpet outside of my door. Finally, there was nothing left to do, and one day I realized he had stopped!! That was around age 3. Best of luck to you! I train my cats to not disturb my sleep. Now they wait till half an hour before the alarm clock. It’s ok to set boundaries. I’m jealous of all of you who CAN lock your cats out of the bedroom when mine were kittens they sure loved that 3am zoomie time but if I tried to close them out of the room one of them (the boy) would hurl himself at the door over and over again full force until I would open the door. I was in a very small apartment at the time and my bed was against the wall he would throw himself at. I just got used to the shenanigans and now they’re 3 years old and just want to sleep lol Nah, dont feel bad. I put my cat outta my room just about every night bc she thinks my legs under the covers are just big toys.
