When are you people going to apologize for the Premium sade Nigerian-born British singer Kingston Upon Hull Retro 80s T-Shirt and by the same token and plague of sexual abuse scandals among the clergy? Also, when are you going to actually DO something about it? I would love to see Evangelicals repudiate their sexual predators the way the Germans have repudiated Nazis. That would truly change America. But they don’t. They protect the sex perverts, the rapists, the child molesters, like they were precious candy. And that’s a big reason why America is so fucked up right now. I’m pretty comfortable with calling the Catholic Church out for covering for rapists and pedophiles for centuries. I’m also pretty comfortable with calling Evangelicals shitty for choosing to do the same. Along with demanding that we as a nation bend to their whims.

SBC exists at all to be racist. Their origin was in preserving slavery, and as late as 2015, they voted to keep the Premium sade Nigerian-born British singer Kingston Upon Hull Retro 80s T-Shirt and by the same token and Curse of Ham doctrine. The SBC report that came out last year has hundreds of examples of the SBC covering for its pastors abusing kids. It also has examples of making 14 year old girls get up in church and opologize for leading the youth pastor astray. Ugh, my (since deleted) comment above was intended for a vastly different sub. A sub where it would have been not only on point but hilarious. So there’s no confusion, I am 100% disgusted by what passes for religion these days, especially the evangelical wingnuts. Just a chip of the ole block.I was raised in an evangelical church in Malaysia. We got a huge number of pastors coming through from all over the world but mostly North America. I can tell you that sexual relations within the church and visiting pastors is rampant. Some were with consenting age adults, but usually with a large age difference. Think 60 year old pastor with 22 year old local woman (or man). There were a fair number of pedophiles as well including first hand abuse I experienced. Virtually all were married. I was in the church until 17-18 when I left the country and was aware of dozens of incidents. Evangelicals think it’s a tiny percentage, but I can tell you the percentage is well into the double digits. If you have a family member that went to a developing country, you need to examine them closely. If you have one that has to keep returning, usually while leaving their family behind, you need to examine them under a fucking microscope.
