My husband and I recently brought home two 12 week old kittens that we’re getting adjusted to the Premium jehovah tsidkenu the lord our righteousness T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this house and our other kitties. Can’t understand why you’re sleeping at 3am I don’t care what anyone says, but sometimes I need to kick my kitty out around that time, and I don’t think it’s wrong at all. She’s nine years old, and never ever got the zoomies because she’s always been active. But as she’s gotten older, I don’t know why, she’ll randomly do the weirdest shit. She’s honestly probably even more active than she used to be, and I’ve been playing with her for literal hours throughout the day since I’ve been home a lot more.

I don’t think you’re a bad cat mom for kicking your kitty out, because it’s seriously so taxing and difficult to get sleep with the constant distractions. I personally struggle to sleep as it is, and I’m on meds for sleep, so if I’m woken up it’s like freaking impossible to fall back asleep. If I do at all. When I first got my kitten, I learned that playing to burn off energy as much as possible before bed worked great. Usually, I used a laser pointer so he could run around the room/bed. Then i started moving my hands around under the balnket to get him playing in bed. Did that for a few minutes. Then, when he was focused on one hand, I’d move the other out and start petting/scratching him. He would refocus his energy into being lovey and wanting attention until he would curl up on my chest and go to sleep. That was around November-December. Now he’s 9 months old, and when I turn off my lamp, he knows it’s bedtime. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that he came from a litter of 5, and his mom was also a kitten still. She was like 5 or 6 months old when she got knocked up (coworker had an appt to get her spayed, she went into heat for the first time right before it, then a neighborhood car tore out a window screen to come get busy with her). So he was just around a bunch of kittens and was all play. Once I adopted him, it took him a while to get adjusted to the not having other kittens around, so he wanted to play with me. But once I kinda started getting a bit more of a schedule/routine going for him, he started adapting and is now very used to it. His routine before was basically “other kittens want to play, so I play.” Now he’s very much like “dad wants to sleep, so I sleep.” And unrelated, but he’s a back sleeper, which is basically the cutest thing every.
