I talked with the Premium carrots LeVert paint shirt Additionally,I will love this real head of the state’s DOE. He said Level 3 was designed to “catch” as many students as possible. I loathe that 1-4 system. Level 3 is a big pile of mush. A student could improve performance significantly and still get a 3. There’s no motivation. You can’t say, “It’s still a 3, Bernie, but it’s a high 3.” Letter grades have 13 levels. They’re more precise, and students and parents can track progress (or decline) better. We just implemented the 1-4 system for grades 4-9, whereas it was just used for primary level previously. I loathe it. The criteria for level 4 is essentially what would’ve been considered an A+, and 3 is everything from C+ to A. I’ve gotten away so far with using terms like “bridging into level 3” and “performing strongly/confidently at level 3,” but it’s so unclear for parents. Heh. Wasn’t that “study” looking at outcomes in classes of like 50 in Pakistan and Kenya? Like sure, class size makes no difference when every kid there knows their family is paying out the ass to give them an education and they’ll get booted if they act up or flunk out. You can absolutely teach effectively to very large classes when the class is composed entirely of children who are willing to behave and learn.

More paras seem like reasonable solutions. Paras don’t need the Premium carrots LeVert paint shirt Additionally,I will love this credentials that teachers do, so you don’t increase the demand for teachers I used to think this was the solution, until I was given a para who tried to give the kids answers on tests and just sat in one spot all day. She was supposed to rotate to the other content teachers in the grade level and would not, even after meetings with admin. The following year my para showed up to work maybe 2-3 days per week, no call no show. Still happened after being written up. She also kept giving kids answers on tests, exit tickets, and wrote answers for essays prompts for kids to copy. When she wasn’t giving kids answers instead of helping them come to their own answers, she was answering questions in class as if she was the student. That was all when she was awake. Yes, she slept in classrooms sitting up. It got so bad that the kids would try to wake her up and she continued to sleep. This behavior continued after multiple admin meetings. I just want a para who does their job.
