Idk Im a dude and I’ve been told I have really soft skin which is usually followed by “just like a girl” so there’s that I guess My skin has always been soft even devoid of lotion, exfoliation, and adequate hydration. I think it’s just a girl thing. I think estrogen is a huge part of it because I never use lotions or skin care except bog standard cheap soap and I get this compliment a lot too. Definitely skincare. I like using body butters and my wife teases me sometimes that my skin is softer than hers. They have more fat distributed under their skin. Its why guys have their veins easily visible and women are soft to the Premium bluey Muffin Needs A Nap shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this touch even at similar low body fat % I think women naturally carry more fat due to the higher estrogen levels, too. I remember telling a fuck friend years ago she had nice ass skin, after saying it I thought in a different context this sounds very creepy Yes. Men and women have different skin structures. Men have a thicker epidermis (the outermost part) and more collagen. This typically means their skin is firmer to the touch. It’s from estrogen, and a layer of subcutaneous fat. That fat layer is why women’s arms don’t look as vascular as men’s.

I have super soft skin, even if I don’t moisturize. Just comes with being a woman. Moisturizer definitely does help though. As a man my skin is actually so soft that I use to think that women’s skin use to be too rough especially when we held hands ( this was before I started deadlifting and getting terrible callouses). Though it could just be genetics. I’m transgender, didn’t change how I took care of my skin at all, and my skin is significantly softer on estrogen than it was before. Nope! I’m a trans woman and can tell you that before my skin felt like it had a layer ontop of it that went away once I started taking Estrogen. I hated my skin before now it’s nice <3 It's estrogen, as a trans nb person once I started taking t blockers and estrogen my skin got soooo soft kinda weird how different it is everyone has made good points about estrogen and collagen structure, but also women tend to watch their diets and eat more vegetables than men (I know this is an overgeneralization don’t come at me). when I went vegan and started eating better my skin got wayyyyy softer. its because men's skin is thicker so it feels rougher than womens (I've heard from what tattoo artists say anyways) It’ll never feel the Premium bluey Muffin Needs A Nap shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this exact same but you can get closer by proper chemical exfoliation, quality moisturizer, sunscreen, night care routine, also no hot and/or long showers (this one hurts me the most lol).
