The only upside now is that they are starting to retire and die off and slowly, slowly things are improving. But the Power con 2023 eterina dreams toys and collectibles americas T-Shirt also I will do this deck has been so seriously stacked against certain generations that the best we can do is try to make it better for those who come after us. Yes millenials will be able to do what they did to a lesser degree. Our cohort is smaller but will be the largest soon. But we will only have the power at 60 or so and we probably need another cohort like gen x to get us over the line. Ie if we want beneficial retirement accounts we will have to also give better pension for gen x. Where as boomers just had to give themselves the benefit. Millenials wont fix the problem. We graduated into the GFC and got fucked for 10 years. We finally are going well and buying houses and get hit with interest. Then everyone will gang up on us over the next 10-15 years to increase taxes for free healthcare and uni the 2 things we dont need anymore. So when we finally recieve our boomer parents inheritance at 50 and gain the voting power we will try to fuck over the next group zoomers cause we will feel hard done by. So the can will get kicked down the road. They could have just taken advantage as you say in the greatest economic boom ever and not supercharge it with debt to fuck the next generation. But they werent content with that.

Id be ok if they took advantage of the Power con 2023 eterina dreams toys and collectibles americas T-Shirt also I will do this natural growth of the world. But they had to steal from future generations as well. Not just in debt they kept moving government benefits to help them. The even more infuriating bit is they think they had it thw toughest. At least we admit the war generations had it tougher. They think it was them! MIL- “ok but you guys really should have a savings and with that savings a reserve as well for problems like this” Shitty political system we inherited from them, outdated values and social codes that restrict the young for nothing, ignorance and bigotry overall, plus trauma from bad parenting, and this weird superiority complex they tend to have towards us They are, ironically, the most spoiled generation in the history of humanity, but they refuse to acknowledge it They sort of had it very easy as a generation. But I also say “okay zoomer” as well as a millennial. Generations just dislike other generations. To me, it’s because they act like emotionally stunted children, but it’s everyone else’s problem and they’ll never face it.
