It’s because they make it bad on purpose. That’s what pisses me off. They could do 50x better, easily, but they only make it worse. There is zero excuse for a database of that volume having such meager search tools attached to it. Absolutely fuck YouTube and their shitty algorithm pushing ad whoring Google daddy. Louise rossman made a video about an app he made which allows consumers like us to directly follow artists. Even if they are on different platforms like kick, YouTube etc. Boom got sent a cease and desist letter. They have a monopoly and they will they everything in thier power to keep it that way He made an app that accesses YouTube content and bypasses YouTube’s ads, violating their terms of service, and was shocked when they tried to take it down?

No. It doesn’t. It mainly caters to content creators. Instead of following platforms you follow creators. When you subscribe to a creator it will show you all thier content from different websites and thier link in one place. And that’s the Polska Born in Poland but Made in the USA Polish American Polish Eagle T-Shirt Besides,I will do this problem for YouTube. YouTube algorithm sucks and people sometimes don’t get new content notification or that in thier recommendations not to mention the subscription button is cluttered. So a place where the creators don’t get shadowbanned or not can reliably get thier content to thier viewers helps them immensely. But this is not the real problem. The app allows you to chose where you see that video. So for example the same video from a creator is uploaded on multiple sites, you get to choose which site you watch it. And this is not good for YouTube as people might choose a different platform. So they sent a notice to him. YouTube does not care if a Grayjay user watches a video on YouTube or on Vimeo, because either way, YouTube isn’t able to monetise that view. In fact, they’d probably rather they pick a different service, because then at least YouTube doesn’t have to waste server money and capacity on serving a video without an ad.
